This programme combines psycho-education with hypnosis. Mindhack™ is a set of child-friendly tools, created by Hypno4Children™, that helps young children to understand how their brain works; we explore how our ‘brain house’ has an ‘upstairs’ thinking part and a ‘downstairs’ emotional and protective part. When the upstairs and downstairs communicate with each other, all is well, but if we ‘flip our lid’ it can feel chaotic and upsetting. We learn how to use the tools of Mindhack™ to calm down and get back in tune with a happy harmonious brain.


Whether your child is young or older, knowledge is power. As they begin to understand that they can take control of their emotional and thinking state it means they can start to self-regulate their behaviour. The skills taught within this programme can be used to affect change on any issue, not just the one that brought the child to therapy.


What is included?


  • Optional 20-minute 'Get to Know You' pre-treatment Zoom call for parents & child, helping to establish rapport and facilitate a gentle introduction to therapy
  • 6 flexible sessions of 45 – 60 minutes tailored to your child’s needs
  • Personalised treatment scripts – using metaphors that combine with your child’s own ideas and imagination
  • Bespoke audio tracks to listen to between sessions – this will include your child’s own solution state, helping to make the treatment more effective.
  • Printed copy of the Mindhack™ workbook
  • 2 x 15 mins check-in calls over the course of treatment, for parents to use between sessions if needed.


Terms & Conditions:


In purchasing this programme you agree to the following terms and conditions:


  1. I understand that the issue that my child needs to work on may need more than six sessions and that some issues or multiple issues may need several weeks or months of coaching.
  2. I understand I will need to contact Back in Tune Coaching to arrange suitable appointment times.
  3. I understand that all appointments are subject to the completion of the necessary paperwork, including client health questionnaire, measurement scores, client agreement form and informed consent (for under 16’s) and that all forms must be completed and returned at least 48 hours in advance of the first appointment.
  4. I understand that my child will need to complete the whole programme to ensure that any positive changes made are permanent and long-lasting.
  5. I understand I (parent/carer) will need to attend the appointment alongside my child. This may be in the treatment room or at least on the business premises and this will be assessed according to your child’s age and needs.
  6. I understand that in the event of any safeguarding concerns or disclosures, client confidentiality may need to be broken and safeguarding procedures will need to be followed.
  7. On completion of the Mindhack™ programme, further programmes and appointments are available on an ongoing basis by arrangement. This will be discussed with you.
  8. Missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full.
  9. The amount paid for this programme is non-refundable.
