Online Hypnotherapy & Coaching
I work with my clients wherever you are in the UK or overseas, so that you can access the resources you need at your convenience. With the flexibility of working from home, many of my clients find the convenience of an online therapy appointment suits them better, enabling them to schedule sessions around their working day.
How should I prepare for online coaching and hypnotherapy sessions?
In order to get the best out of your session please take note of the following guidelines:
- It is best to use a laptop or computer with a built-in camera and microphone rather than a smartphone. You need to be able to relax with your hands free.
- Switch off phones and electronic devices.
- Consider using headphones for privacy and ease of hearing.
- Ensure you have a good internet connection – switch off all unnecessary applications on your computer and ask other family members to limit their broadband use during your appointment time.
- Choose a quiet room where you won’t be disturbed – remove pets and ask family members for privacy. If you are expecting post or deliveries, put a ‘please do not disturb’ sign on your front door and/or instructions to leave packages elsewhere.
- Make sure you are facing a natural light source rather than being backlit.
- Set yourself up with the camera so that the whole upper half of your body is in full view.
- Have somewhere comfortable to sit and perhaps a foot stool to put your feet up.
- You may like to have a blanket to cover yourself as your body temperature may drop when you are in a relaxed state.
- Have a glass of water and some tissues handy.
What happens if we lose internet connection?
Before the session begins we will discuss the plan for loss of internet connection. Hypnosis is a very safe process and should we lose connection, your subconscious will guide you to a full waking state. You will remain in control at all times and I will contact you by phone or text to reconnect.
